Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy for India Treks:

  • More than 45 Days : 10% cancellation charges of the total amount
  • 45 - 30 days prior to the event – 60% refund of the total amount
  • 16 - 29 days prior to the event – 45% refund of the total amount
  • 00 - 15 days prior to the event – No refund

Cancellation Policy for Nepal Treks:

  • More that 45 Days : 10% will be deducted as cancellation fees
  • 45-20 days prior to the event – 45% refund of the total amount.
  • 19- 00 days prior to the event – No refund

How to cancel your trek?

For any reason, due to no fault of Yeti Expeditions, if you wish to cancel your expedition / event, an Email ( info@yetiexpeditions.com ) or WhatsApp ( +91 8448048862 ) intimation needs to be sent. Cancellation requests are not taken orally. We allow and suggest for transfer of their confirmed seat to someone else instead of cancellation

How long does the refund process take?

After you have cancelled your trek the amount is refunded to your bank account/credit card in about 6-7 working days, usually sooner.

Important Points:

Small Batches,  For Groups Less Than 5 ( Only for Fixed Departures not the Custom and private Batches)

At Yeti Expeditions, we run small batches with a maximum of 10 trekkers to ensure quality and safety. We deeply value the time and effort trekkers invest in planning their adventures. This is why we never cancel our treks, even if the group size for a fixed departure falls below five participants. The trek will only be  canceled if requested by all the trekkers themselves.

In case the group size is less than five, there will be a minimal extra cost to cover the basic expenses.

This payment is to be made only at the base camp of the trek. The cost varies by region as follows:

Uttarakhand treks: ₹3,500 per person
Kashmir treks: ₹3,700 per person
Himachal treks: ₹2,900 per person
West Bengal treks: ₹2,700 per person
Nepal treks: Please check with us directly before making the payment.

Our commitment ensures your journey remains seamless and fulfilling, regardless of group size.

  • In case of unforeseen weather conditions, government restrictions or any other unavoidable circumstances beyond the control of Yeti Expeditions, certain activities during the expedition or the event itself may be cancelled, or there could be change in the itinerary. In such cases, the operator will try his best to provide an alternate feasible activity (in case of cancellation or rescheduling of event) to the registered participants. However, no refund will be provided for the same.
  • In case an event is cancelled before the start date by Yeti Expeditions because of bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, refund (after deducting 10% of the total amount) will be provided to the people who had made an advance/full payment. But the organizers shall not be liable to reimburse for any other additional expenses that they might incur with regard to such cancellation.
  • Refund will be given after deducting Payment Gateway charges and any other non-refundable costs (booking charges and handling expenses).
